Unusual Happenings

It has been a hectic couple of weeks.

Last week I spent 3 nights in Sydney and converted yet another person to Phillip's Foote. A wonderful Australian place that I know is close to the Field's family's heart. The best things about Sydney is Phillip's views on life, Krispy Kreme Donuts and the cheap coffee in the foyer of our office building over there.

The Harbour Bridge and Opera House are nice but if you are going to ol Sydney town make sure you venture to http://www.phillipsfoote.com.au.

I also had a spin out experience the previous weekend when after going shopping in Perth all morning, we had just arrived home to hear a knock at the door. It was a guy on a motorbike who had picked up my wallet off (didn't even know I lost it) the freeway near the city, saw my address on my license and decided to drop it off. Very nice guy!!

The roofies are close to finishing and we are pleased with their efforts.

Any idea what this is?

It actually is the wiring for the dishwasher. So the sparky is working away and we are being forced to take back all the slurs we have cast on those wonderful tradesfolk as we have had 'workmen' there for the past two Saturdays.

So I think the plumber is due next, then the Color Bond roof will go on, followed by a render of the internal walls, they do the ceilings then plaster the walls and bang in the cornices.

We're the Eagles, West Coast Eagles and we're here to show you why we're the big birds, king of the big game ...

Yep we got up by a solitary point and I only lost the plot once in the third quarter when that stupid umpire gave Barry Hall a free kick 40m out straight in front. But I have turned the page.

Lachlan impresses me by refusing to desert the Dockers even when the Eagles are the champions for the 3rd time in 14 years but as you can see his little brother knows what it is all about. (Thanks Pa and Grandma)

Despite initially planning to put the pool in after we have moved into the new house, we are now bringing it forward in the priority list (two guesses as to who is pushing this one!!) So we spent all of Saturday going to the different places and I have finally got Deanne to agree that a pool is a like a major water feature and we should do it right.
